Would you wear a car?

Would you wear a car? I don't mean putting a car wheel around your neck or a windscreen as a headband. But today while I was in the car, as I peered around i noticed how designers may take inspiration from our man made machines.

Racetrack colours, also 60's mod dresses pull off the black and white.

Lana Del Ray looking effortlessly amazing in her biker jacket.
Metallic is big in 2012, from shoes to trousers. Inspired from car wheels maybe?

Aswell these and other disco pants have similarities to sliver car bonets.
Turning biker leathers into a fashion item
Oh so biker boots..
In 2011 Phoebe Philo said her A/W 2011 collection was inspired by luxury car inferiors

So 'wearing a car' doesn't seem that odd after all. Next task for me is to show you my car
inspired look. So keep posted until I put it up.

Outft Post: Long Shorts

Now my awful history exam is out the way i no longer need to spend my nights revising the development of medicine through time (yawn). Its the weekend so that means outfit posts. As well as posing against an ugly brick wall I've also been keeping up with the London collections and this year I've even been checking out the mens. Doesn't it just get us all excited for LFW?

Anyway, since reading a article on company mag about 'city long shorts'
I've been dieing to wear mine. So i wore my pink H+M shorts with my sister's starry
new look top and my over-sized shirt. As normal i punk'd it up with my sliver sparkly socks
and my fave red platforms.

90s Trends

While our ears were listening to the spice girls our eyes were watching save by the bell. People have said how 90s wasn't a hit with fashion, even said how it took a downfall but looking back now you maybe disagree. I decided to look at the biggest trends in the 90s and how they are making a come back now.
The bomber jackets, as already by Rihanna. They all catch my eye whenever I'm in a river island store

Biker shorts, they became shorter and tighter and then BHAM fashion statement they were
Combat Boots, they have already returned!
'Bold Tees under Urban Blazers' if you haven't already got a blazer this year you should really slap yourself in the face
Crop tops and cut offs both inspired by Kelly from save by the bell. 10 years apart but can you tell the difference?

Ripped jeans, Who new Kim's fashion icon was Kurt Cobain?
This years must haves,Culottes. Here is a designer and high street verison.

Outfit Of The Day: Collar Trend

First of all a apology for my poor photos, i wasn't feeling brave and do a 'dancing in the rain' photo shoot. The weather is pretty awful so a few snaps in my bedroom will have to do.
Most of my favourite clothes are currently packed as i'm going on a (rainy) weekend break with dani and family. It be nice to have a breathe of fresh air and enjoy my last days of half term doing something different. Fingers crossed the sun will come out once. As of my absence i won't be posting this weekend but when i get back i'll have a lot to update so get your eyes peeled!

This grey over-size topshop top is my guilty pleasure, they are just so comfy
