The Un-wanted Uniform

This was always a post which i didn't know whether to do it or not! Summer is now over for me as I started back to school yesterday! This means I now have put back on my blazer and tie. My uniform really isn't my thing. I just find it very boy-ish, through-fore this year I have tried my best to make it as girly as I can. That is a little odd for me as normally my style isn't very innocent but i can't help but label my skirt as 'sweet'. I also add small and simple pieces of accessories to give it that extra personal touch.

Ray of sunshine

So this weekend i'm going to Birmingham with the girls! Something we all been looking forward to and probably the last thing we do before some of us go away for the summer! I'm praying, and i mean praying that the weather is nice. We going to the olympic torch concert. If luck is on my cards and the sun does appear this is what i'm going to wear.

Cupcakes and Clothes

I've decided to bring my two all time Favourites together! Cupcakes and Clothes! All last week both the outfit and the recipe were on the top of my TO-DO LIST! The recipe was one i found online the weekend before. Dark chocolate and bacon. These ingredients inspired my outfit this week which infact is a little different to what i normally wear (long skirt or dress rarely fit me).  So how do you wear a dark chocolate and bacon cupcake outfit?

 

As you can see the dark chocolate cake covered in dark chocolate icing. This is the base, just like the black skirt i'm wearing. Both are dark and bold! (Are you with me?) Then the crispy bacon chunks give the cake that extra pop of favour and excitement,just like my lime green top, the flash of neon adds favour and excitement to my outfit.


 And there we go.. I have read about 3892 times bloggers need to bring something different to the internet and therefore i've mixed fashion with cakes. What will next be in my mixer and on my shoulders? 

Sunglasses

I mentioned in one of my previous posts that i've ordered 2 new pairs of sunglasses!! Well my first pair arrived today. Just in time for my concert on Saturday,lets hope the others arrive before my hols.

Sales 

Last but not least i'd like everyone to be aware of all holidays sales, me and my mum popped into topshop yesterday to do our bit!! Asos's one is also pretty impressive. 

Double Denim Dancing

So.. I have been developing my layout on my blog a lot recently and so decided to keep this post until the weekend! These photos were taken last weekend when i took my dog (Dizzee) on a walk. I am of course 'rockin' the double denim look along with a starry crop top (previously seen in 'Long Shorts' post).Aswell i have a pair of old 'retro' sunglasses on my head while i'll wait for my 2 new pairs to arrive!!

Like i said earlier,i have changed my blog layout (colours,header,text,ect..) I think I'm finally happy  but don't be shocked if its all changed by next week! As always,i'm open to your opinions on blog so don't be afraid to comment or get in touch!

Jump Into My Jumpsuit

The sun was out and everyone had there maxi dresses on,apart from me...

Yes, as i hunt for the right bright colourful maxi to suit someone who doesn't have the legs of Kate moss I'm sticking to my jumpsuit!

It gives me the confidence and remind me i do indeed have some legs.

It is England,so a bright denim jacket gave it a little more favour as i slip my incredibly classy McDonald's milkshake (shame on me!)

(My hair? yeah it was one of them days..)

Crop Tops and Skirts

This is a great look for SS2012 IF you wear it right.

Short,long,mid-lengh,almost every skirt works well.

TIP: Make either the skirt or crop top bold and contrast with the other,

this make your look stand out more. Or pick a pair of shoes

that are bold and will contast to your outfit.

Catwalk Bra Tops SS12

Here Selena Gomez is wearing this look at the Kids Choice Adwards 2012. I love the shoes, but thats it. I am not a fan of jewelled clothing,therefore the skirt was a big NO NO. The outfit has no bold colours,as if she was playing it safe. Fingers crossed she improves her next red carpet outfit.
