Treasures Locked Away

You no that period where all your gems are locked in your suitcases before you jet off? I'm currently in  pre-holiday clothes depression. So what do you wear when you have nothing to wear... Would you describe my outfit as next week's charity bag? Luckily as the weather isn't great in England I can still wear my warmer clothes that I hope I won't need when I'm away. Aswell as wearing the spring bunch, you discover the old treasures and just style them in a different way. I guess this is the layed-back-weekend look.

Solid colour

Heyyy, I'm not sure if you noticed but recently I'm having bigger breaks between posts. This isn't because I'm lazy or 'too busy'.But i simply do not want to turn into a blogger who posts for the sake of posting! However, alot of planning and pictures have gone into this post,it could be the best one yet...

So me and VICKI went Leicester on Saturday and as well as seeing every girl wearing American print, we saw one women wear a pink outfit. 3 different shades of pink. This women wasn't a Alexa Chung of the world and so we laughed but this did make me think...
You can't say these outfits don't go,right?

White

linen trousers,white shirt,sliver crop top

Minty blue

 jeans and frilly top

 Beige

Blazer,top and skirt

 Baby Pink

 Shirt and jeans

 Black and White

 leggings and ripped top

So.. what goes better than baby pink jeans? A baby pink top? Do you think its works..

Cupcakes and Clothes

I've decided to bring my two all time Favourites together! Cupcakes and Clothes! All last week both the outfit and the recipe were on the top of my TO-DO LIST! The recipe was one i found online the weekend before. Dark chocolate and bacon. These ingredients inspired my outfit this week which infact is a little different to what i normally wear (long skirt or dress rarely fit me).  So how do you wear a dark chocolate and bacon cupcake outfit?

As you can see the dark chocolate cake covered in dark chocolate icing. This is the base, just like the black skirt i'm wearing. Both are dark and bold! (Are you with me?) Then the crispy bacon chunks give the cake that extra pop of favour and excitement, just like my lime green top, the flash of neon adds favour and excitement to my outfit.

And there we go.. I have read about 3892 times bloggers need to bring something different to the internet and therefore i've mixed fashion with cakes. What will next be in my mixer and on my shoulders?

Sunglasses

I mentioned in one of my previous posts that i've ordered 2 new pairs of sunglasses!! Well my first pair arrived today. Just in time for my concert on Saturday, lets hope the others arrive before my hols.

Apologies for poor quality, had to rush,my dinner was waiting!

Sales

Last but not least i'd like everyone to be aware of all holidays sales, me and my mum popped into topshop yesterday to do our bit!! Asos's one is also pretty impressive.

Double Denim Dancing

So.. I have been developing my layout on my blog a lot recently and so decided to keep this post until the weekend! These photos were taken last weekend when i took my dog (Dizzee) on a walk. I am of course 'rockin' the double denim look along with a starry crop top (previously seen in 'Long Shorts' post).Aswell i have a pair of old 'retro' sunglasses on my head while i'll wait for my 2 new pairs to arrive!!

Like i said earlier,i have changed my blog layout (colours,header,text,ect..) I think I'm finally happy  but don't be shocked if its all changed by next week! As always,i'm open to your opinions on blog so don't be afraid to comment or get in touch!

I'm wearing a car!

Remember my last post about inspiration from our own forms of transport? And i told you all how i'll show you my own 'transport' theme outfit? Here it is... I find my outfit more motor-bike type. Of course it was the only day the sun has come out for over a month when i needed to put on my leathers pants (H+M). I find my top (new look) very bike-jacket like with the tassels. Also again i'm wearing my big black boots.

Would you wear a car?

Would you wear a car? I don't mean putting a car wheel around your neck or a windscreen as a headband. But today while I was in the car, as I peered around i noticed how designers may take inspiration from our man made machines.

Racetrack colours, also 60's mod dresses pull off the black and white.

Lana Del Ray looking effortlessly amazing in her biker jacket.
Metallic is big in 2012, from shoes to trousers. Inspired from car wheels maybe?

Aswell these and other disco pants have similarities to sliver car bonets.
Turning biker leathers into a fashion item
Oh so biker boots..
In 2011 Phoebe Philo said her A/W 2011 collection was inspired by luxury car inferiors

So 'wearing a car' doesn't seem that odd after all. Next task for me is to show you my car
inspired look. So keep posted until I put it up.

Outft Post: Long Shorts

Now my awful history exam is out the way i no longer need to spend my nights revising the development of medicine through time (yawn). Its the weekend so that means outfit posts. As well as posing against an ugly brick wall I've also been keeping up with the London collections and this year I've even been checking out the mens. Doesn't it just get us all excited for LFW?

Anyway, since reading a article on company mag about 'city long shorts'
I've been dieing to wear mine. So i wore my pink H+M shorts with my sister's starry
new look top and my over-sized shirt. As normal i punk'd it up with my sliver sparkly socks
and my fave red platforms.

90s Trends

While our ears were listening to the spice girls our eyes were watching save by the bell. People have said how 90s wasn't a hit with fashion, even said how it took a downfall but looking back now you maybe disagree. I decided to look at the biggest trends in the 90s and how they are making a come back now.
The bomber jackets, as already by Rihanna. They all catch my eye whenever I'm in a river island store

Biker shorts, they became shorter and tighter and then BHAM fashion statement they were
Combat Boots, they have already returned!
'Bold Tees under Urban Blazers' if you haven't already got a blazer this year you should really slap yourself in the face
Crop tops and cut offs both inspired by Kelly from save by the bell. 10 years apart but can you tell the difference?

Ripped jeans, Who new Kim's fashion icon was Kurt Cobain?
This years must haves,Culottes. Here is a designer and high street verison.
